Volunteering @ ALSO
Ever fancied working at a Festival? Volunteering is great way of working alongside some of the best speakers in the country, improving your skillset, being part of the ALSO team as well as getting free or reduced price entry to the UK's greatest boutique festival for world-class ideas.
Jack and I had a fabulous time, and working added that extra special, the banquet experience was amazing and Jack loved working with the live bands and stage managing lip sync battles! So much so that he would love to do next year and volunteer for working the whole festival.
There are two ways of volunteering:
Volunteer Ticket
What we ask for
- £50
- 1 shift during the festival (to be allocated to you)
What you get
- Full access to the best ideas festival in the country
- A chance to be part of the ALSO team
Full Volunteering
What we ask for
- 3 shifts before, during or after the festival
- Practical or artistic skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with the general public
What you get
- Full access to the best ideas festival in the country for free
- A chance to be part of the ALSO team
- Food and drink for the days you're working
- Limited edition T-shirt
My daughter and I both loved the £50 ticket. Best thing was being involved in a fun event and getting to know our team mates (we worked the Saturday banquet shift). And we had plenty of time to see and do everything else. Please repeat next year! Thanks for a great festival!

Wow, what a wonderful ALSO week-end: great people and so much to see and do. We had lots of fun working with James and Rebecca on the Friday night dinners and I think he was equally keen for us to help him again next year, so I was thinking of getting volunteer tickets once more.
