Music
Music at ALSO is all about the new, the eclectic and the movement inspiring. We promise some of the most exciting music being made in the UK today, as well as unique ways to engage with sound staged across the weekend.
ALSO25’s soundtrack was pure alchemy: the world-renowned, genre-defying Molotov Jukebox, fronted by actress and musician Natalia Tena, Bristol’s Miya The Sun, fusing psychedelic soul, jazzy hip-hop and solar funk, and Copenhagen’s high-voltage trio Smag På Dig Selv (SPDS), bringing Nordic euphoria to the wild.
Our Future Music programme, which nurtures artists in the early stages of their career (supported by Arts Council England), lit up the festival with a blaze of energy. The future, already on stage.
Add to this a live scoring of the silent classic Nosferatu, an immersive retelling of Xenobe Purvis’ The Hounding using binaural sound, superstar DJ Greg Wilson playing our legendary straw-bale disco bunker, and you’ll start to get a good idea of what goes on.
Music is an essential part of what we do. We've always packed an eclectic mix, and 2026 will be no different. We'll have choirs illuminating the beauty of the human voice and DJs rocking the Rum Bar day and night. We’ll have late-night karaoke as well as explorations into the weird and wonderful. The first wave lands January 2026.
