ALSO is the place of workshops, experiences, and masterclasses – some designed just for us – all designed for you to up-skill, go deeper into things you like, or just to try something new and wild. Our ethos is simple: fill the weekend with possibilities, then let you choose your own adventure.
ALSO gives you so many chances to learn something new or to join your fellow humans doing something wild – from early morning, sundown, or moonlit swims with our resident wild swimming expert, to sauna sessions beneath ancient oaks and invigorating plunges in the silky lake waters.
At ALSO26, we created our biggest Saturday Night Spectacular yet, where we explored the Oh Fortuna! theme with lights and lanterns and our HUGE fortune fish spun to reveal our new millionaire in our Saturday Night Spectacular. We got creative in a Foraged Fascinators or Summer Wreath workshop with Sara Cant, joined ALSO’s Crochet Club, made perfume with 4160 Tuesdays London, learnt origami in Fortuna Folds with Sara Veal, or joined Greg McLeod for a Sequential Art, Comic and Storyboarding Masterclass. We made time to explore the stunning festival site on one of our incredible range of guided walks, including the Foraging Walk with UK Wild Adventures, a relaxed guided walk with Outdoor Adventure Girls or a Guided Literary Walk with Ella Berthoud. Then, as daylight softened and evening approached, we gathered by the lake for Daily Dusking as ALSO marked the transition from day to night.
We joined the ALSO Art Club for a state of flow, learnt Charleston with Fiona Ring, embarked on a Bat Walk in the Far Out Forest, tried Paddle Boarding on the Capability Brown lake, or joined Ben Pester for The Inevitable Writing Workshop. . .
ALSO was the place to immerse ourselves in new experiences, and our wild setting enhanced this to the max.
