Sushi is not just for fish lovers. There are many more wonderful vegetarian varieties that use ingredients such as shiitake mushroom, aubergine, carrot and fried tofu. Sachiko comes to ALSO having worked in some of the top Japanese and Michelin starred restaurants in the country. In Japan Sushi is often made for special occasions and is seen as an integral part of festival celebrations and cherry blossom viewing picnics. In this workshop, we will learn the basic skills you need to know to help inspire you to create beautiful sushi at home. You will make your own Roll, Inari and other varieties of sushi to enjoy eating as soon as you've learned how (we suggest making your own lake viewing picnic!).
Ages 16+ (Ages 10+ can attend with adult supervision).
Please note, the 3pm session on the Sunday is a family-friendly event and one child under age 10 can join with an adult participating.
