To make sure all of our festival-goers can embrace their inner Frida Khalo, we've added an extra Flower Crown workshop! We'll be working with only the finest locally sourced seasonal flowers.
Sophie Clausen is an artist and designer who studied fine art at Goldsmiths College in London. This Collage/Mixed Media Workshop will take place in the forest, drawing inspiration from animals and their habitat. Materials such as wood, bark, sticks, leaves, torn paper and cloth will be structured into a collage and fixed onto a canvas.
On this 90 minute exploration of the ALSO countryside, Outdoors Specialist and Master Herbalist, Simon Birbeck, will weave his knowledge of how our ancestors survived off the land into you. Find out how they foraged for medicines and understand how to find alternative food sources for yourself.
Learn how to move with the rhythm of the changing seasons of our inner and outer landscapes with the UK's leading movement coach Ben Medder. Ben will share ideas through guided individual movement practice, creative games and tasks to spark the imagination and fuel the muse for reflection. This session is available on both Saturday and Sunday.
Learn how to add colour and character to any surface using acrylic paints and give old objects a striking makeover with artist Sandy Di Yu in this 2-hour workshop as part of Yodomo’s "Renew - Restore - Recycle” programme.
Following a grounding exercise, a series of asanas designed to open the heart and chest areas will increase energy levels. A pranayama and short meditation on love, compassion and self-respect will leave you with a warm heart and an open mind.
