Clever by day, dancing by night and music all weekend, the Also Festival prides itself on new music, artists and audio adventures. Friday night offers the eclectic, the quirky and the powerful with Jonnie Common, Lady Sanity and Man & The Echo. This hand-picked bunch have been lauded by 6 Music, Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq and BBC Introducing.

We'll be building to a Saturday night high with gypsy jazz from Scratchy Beard, Brazilian Samba from Marcos Santana and the Tribo Drummers and the energetic Afrikan Boy - who fuses Hip Hop, Afrobeat and a damn good time.

Up at our Costa del ALSO we have our beautiful Lake Stage featuring Pianofield - a solar-powered electronica and piano duo, acoustic sets from Jennifer John, Vashti, Lola Aviva and Ibizan vibes from This Is A Recording.

Tween Scene is our Saturday triple-header for young ‘uns - with a set from teen singing sensation Denis Coleman, Lip Sync Champions and the Kids’ Disco.

Our legendary disco bunker and clubbing line up includes DiY DJs Grace Sands and The Peaceful Ones (formerly Digs and Woosh), A Lover and a Friend play blues and soul,  Jill on Top dusts off her superlative vinyl collection, there’s the Battle of the Vinyl Geeks on Saturday night and of course our very own DJ Vertigo.

ALSO Festival Director Juliet Russell (ITV's The Voice, Michael McIntyre's Unexpected Star) is keen you get involved with the music - Choralaoke makes you the star, supported by the heavenly London International Gospel Choir, join her as the MD of the Also Festival choir and perform in our Saturday night extravaganza, sing with Portobello Live Choir and sessions in songwriting and Musical Theatre. Oh yes!
