Yoga teacher and 4160Tuesdays founder, Sarah McCartney brings two of her super skills together to lead a Scented Yoga session. Book on this workshop for a most unusual and enjoyable yoga session in which you get to take away your own vial of perfume for your own practice. £3.
Pop along to our Pop-Up Kombucha Café to discover the fabulousness of fermenting your own drinks. £5.
For kids and big kids - for 2019 we’re running a kite-making workshop where you’ll get to build your own traditional diamond kite. £7.

Spotted bats? Post bat-walk, get creative with Art Macabre's chiroptera celebration. London's infamous purveyors of theatrical life drawing present costumed models, music and myth to inspire you to doodle and make macabre marks. Free.
Also Festival 2019 is keen to deepen our relationship with nature and to celebrate this, we are encouraging you to take part in our extremely special Sunset and Sunrise Swims. Timed to see our extraordinary setting in the most magical light - guided by one of the leading wild swimmers in the country, Suzanna Cruickshank, this promises to be an unforgettable experience. Over 18s only, 16/17 year olds welcome with parents. £15.

We’re going all out for Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) for 2019 and our in-festival favourite, Sarah McCartney (founder of Perfume House 4160 Tuesdays) will be offering a workshop in which you can build your own diffuser to take the joys of Forest Bathing (babes) home to enjoy the benefits long after your also glow has faded. £20.
Discover and explore the world of essential oils on this aromatherapy mist workshop. Learn about what benefits different essential oils have and then using your senses and with Suzie's expert knowledge you will create a blend you love to make a beautiful mist. This will be your unique bespoke face mist/toner to keep and take away with you. £10.
Explore the mindful benefits of wild swimming in the great outdoors. Leave constraints and concerns on the shore and let the water support you. ALSO’s wild swimming expert Suzanna will guide you through the mindful wonders of appreciating your surroundings, teach useful breathing exercises meaning you can fully immerse yourself in this unique experience. Over 18s only, 16/17 year olds welcome with parents. £15.
Or have a go at Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga - an anatomically based dance of beautiful flowing movement which honours the spine and allows your body to move as nature intended. You’ll be stronger physically, emotionally and spiritually. Free.
If you go down to the woods today...make sure you play with clay! A fun family workshop for children and adults to create your own ‘out of the woods’ animal. You'll have the option of your creations being fired (£5) and posted (£6.50 or free to pick up) on to you, payable on the day. £10.
Can you create your own fairy houses to take home? Festival creative director, Judy Reaves, will provide you with everything you need to build your very own fairy kingdom. £3.
Bushcraftaway! We have Wild Adventures and Bushcraft supremo, Simon Birbeck as our very own eco therapist at ALSO Festival this year. Book on to one of the two bushcraft survival sessions he is running deep in the ALSO woods and understand from the experts how to manage the basics of fire, water, shelter, food when living off grid. Under 8s must be accompanied by an adult. £5.
Always wanted to try out a classical gladiatorial approach to combat sports whilst ALSO wanting the fitness of a martial art. You – my friend, are in luck – for 2019 Also Festival is working with LED Lightsabre combat company Silver Sabres to set up our own Combat Academy. Taster and extended experiences are available.
Be procession ready by booking on our lantern making session in the kids' tent. You'll get to make your very own willow lantern ahead of the procession Saturday evening at dusk. £9.

Put Archimedes' Displacement Theory to the test whilst learning how to escape being shipwrecked! Our instructors will give you some tips but it will be up to you to turn a pile of poles, rope, and barrels into a raft - to keep you and your crew afloat. Minimum age 8. £10.

Cask No Doubt. We love to take an intelligent look at the things we drink for pleasure at ALSO so we are so pleased BBC Radio 4's The Kitchen Cabinet broadcaster and author, Rachel McCormack is at ALSO with her taste tour of the ways whiskys are finished - from Sauternes to Sherry. £16.

For media loving teens or filmmakers, who want to learn practical skills in making film for their own promotions, director and photographer Christian Banfield will be leading a masterclass comprised of four two hour sessions across the weekend. It's a chance to gain practical knowledge in storyboarding, setting up shots, lighting and shooting, drawing on the experience of someone with 30 years in the business. More details here.
