After a year of much eating at home, isn't it time to treat your tastebuds to some fine festival fare? Yes our tasting experiences are at ALSO are open for booking!
We work creatively with fabulous local suppliers, ones who take the best care of their produce and who, like us, would have 'sustainability' as a tattoo if it wasn't already in their hearts, and this ALSO21, we're serving many unique experiences where you can be our guest - as well as chef and sommelier too, if you so desire!
Our lakeside picnic (hosted by Fi Fi Lamour) returns for the Friday night or join Bread for Life for some Pizzette making, these mini pizzas cooked on charcoal. or on Saturday afternoon pick up an afternoon tea in a box or carefully selected Getaria Inspired Basque Food Picnic and enjoy under shady trees by the banks of the lake on Saturday afternoon, while the Real String Orchestra plays on the lake stage, or taste and learn on Sat in our Spanish Aperitivo hour in our experience tent.
Our Balaeric Brunch Paella is always a favourite. We'll be creating the beautiful boutique beach bar experience for a small socially distanced number on Saturday night with two limited sittings (first sitting here and second sitting here), or book on Sunday to be enjoyed beach bar style and enjoy yourself in the great outdoors and some Balearic beats.
It's ALSO Dumplings-a-go-go on Sun. Join Sam Sin from Koi Kitchen and learn how to make your own Chinese Dumplings in a Chinese Dumpling Making Masterclass. Koi will be running not one but three workshops! Choose from Sunday at 12pm, Sunday at 1pm, or Sunday at 2pm. Spaces are limited!
Food trucks wise - a couple of highlights from us - you can build your own pizza with Woodburns Pizza, a small family firm, or get your coffee fix with the coffee-to-the-stars Crafty Boys. They also craft a very good-looking, cheeky Espresso Martini – perfect for sharpening the mind in between sessions.
The Pod will be bringing the very best smoothies, healthy breakfast offerings, jacket potatoes with a range of fillings, sweet potato wedges with sriracha mayo, and burritos, whilst Taste of Spice bring authentic Indian flavours, vibrant colours and tantalizing aromas! Local farmers Red Banger serve breakfast, lunch and dinner made with home bred pork, organic lamb, eggs from hens that are free to roam and cheese from their farmers.
Don't stress about going to the shops, come buy our local farm-fresh supplies from our on-site ALSO Deli, back for a 2021 edition. Yes, there will be fine wines, pastries, fruit & veg, local cheese, hams, dips, and all you might need to get you through the weekend.
