Stories from and ‘out of the woods’ and creative forest crafts - drawing on our woodlands, our understanding of nature and the stories woven into our landscape. Crafting, Also-rock-painting, word-wilding, fire-starting. All Saplings activities take place in our wonderful woodland setting.
Tales from the yoga mat is a fun fitness and storytelling experience for children from 0-7 years. Led by their yoga teacher and chief storyteller, the children become voyagers of literature and are transported through time and space to great adventures using their bodies to act out each tale.

Sophie has released 3 studio albums, toured internationally and was the very first artist to perform on the main stage at London's O2 Arena! She uses songwriting as a powerful tool for building confidence and creative expression with children from 7 to 70+! This session is for 11-18 year olds. Exploring the art form of song within a group is a musical adventure of games, improvisation and of course singing and song writing.
We’re going all out for Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) for 2019 and our in-festival favourite Sarah McCartney (founder of Perfume House 4160 Tuesdays) will be offering a workshop in which you can build your own diffuser to take the joys of Forest Bathing (babes) home to enjoy the benefits long after your also glow has faded. They'll be running workshops on how to make handcrafted luxury face masks, vegan face-masks, soothing spriz atomisers and coming with a festival sized amount of animal friendly beautifully biodegradable glitter – so we can glitter our socks off!
