ALSO Social's live music kicks off at 8pm on Friday night with the folk-tinged, beautiful sounds of Jasmine Rodgers, followed by the one-stop party that is (a bubble of) Tribo Drummers on the Main stage. Moving down to the souped-up and newly extended lakeside Rum Shack, we welcome international DJ Krystal Roxx (pictured) with an Ibiza-inspired set, followed by DJ Vertigo with House classics and funky grooves.
Ease into your Saturday with The Real String Duo, next to the Rum Shack, before Grand Union Sound lights up the Lake stage, with their eco-friendly mobile sound system. DJ Jill on Top plays the Saturday Soul Sessions between 2-4pm, back at Rum Central. From 5-7pm, we have a triumvirate of acoustic solos and duos Karin Fransson, Andrew Yeadon and local artist TAY building up to the legendary Lip Sync Champions on the Main stage, hosted by our very own Juliet Russell. (INSIDER TIP - START REHEARSING!) Lakeside, we have the sounds of flamenco guitar drifting over the water and adding an extra taste of Spain to the Getaria picnic.
As our Saturday night hots up, we have DJ Ferdie (pictured) lighting up the Rum Shack with his Barrio Bar blend of funky mash-ups. We move back to the Main stage for the fabulous Miss Baby Sol, (pictured) whose star quality oozes from every ounce of her being. Audio adventurer Richard Norris' latest audiovisual + electronica piece Music for Healing brings us all together as the sun goes down.
What better way to start Sunday than an 11am lakeside Kids Disco - brought to you from our friends at Grand Union Sound? We'll have some chilled-out lunchtime grooves at the Rum Shack between 1-3pm, before moving to the Main Stage for Sophie Lagan at 3pm. Our closing party runs throughout the late afternoon through to late evening with a Fleetwood Mac hour with Bubbles and Sprinkles and a grand gathering of all of this year's ALSO DJs = PAAAAAAARRRRRRTY.
