ALSO Future Music
ALSO Future Music is a new early-career development programme, supported by Arts Council England, countering the shrinking opportunities available in the sector and targets a diverse range of early-career artists looking to build experience. It offers development workshops with industry professionals, marketing and promotion, help adapting performance for outdoor events and performing to a festival audience.
The programme will work with 12 early-career artists and 6 technicians over 6-months, with key activity taking place in-festival at ALSO 2025 over the 11-13th July 2025 weekend.
The new ALSO Future Music programme will support a diverse range of 12 early-career artists and offer development opportunities consisting of:
- Development workshops with industry professionals
- Marketing and promotion
- Help adapting performance for outdoor events
- In-festival networking event
- A paid gig at ALSO 2025!
- Travel and accommodation to the event
The programme will help grassroots artists build confidence and stagecraft in a professional festival setting, connection with audience, ability to work with technicians in a live setting, as well as developing Industry connections, digital presence and navigation of the application process for live events.
The Application Process
Applications are now open and close Friday 28th March 2025 at 23:59.
- We welcome applications from grassroots and early-career bands, duos and solo artists who are over the age of 18.
- Applicants must be available for the full ALSO Festival weekend in Warwickshire over the 11 - 13th July 2025 weekend.
