Below you'll find answers to the questions we get asked the most at Also Festival HQ...
What facilities are there with regards to toilets, showers, food, drink, etc?
ALSO is a very small but upmarket festival and will have toilets/shower to match its size and location. Food/drink is a big part of the festival and will be a mixture of the artisan and well-made festival food, we also have a number of food events (which need to be pre-booked here) so we can have a diverse and interesting range of ways of eating in a festival of this size.
Are cars allowed on site?
There are no cars allowed on site at ALSO. The car park is at the top of the site and the walk down to the main site is a few minutes.
However, we have limited numbers of car passes available which allow cars on site with camping in the camper van area which can be purchased here. This area is only available to those who have bought pass tickets in advance.
Do you allow campfires on site?
We ask that you please do not have any open fires at the festival site.
Can we bring our own food and alcohol?
Within reason. We do not have a shop on site, so you will need to bring essential supplies. We cannot have any glass on site because the site really belongs to the sheep.
Do you allow dogs on the site?
Sorry, dogs are not allowed on the site (with the exception of registered guide dogs).
Can you do the wild swim barefoot?
Please do bring socks for swimming to protect your feet - we will have a few.
Are there any shuttles or buses or would you know how much a taxi company would charge for the journey between the nearest station and the site?
The nearest station is Leamington Spa. Taxis to and from the station should be around £18. We will have taxi numbers at information but we really recommend pre-booking if you intend to leave from the festival on the Sunday because this is a remote site and we don't want you to have to wait around.
Do you know what the start and finish time of the acts is likely to be?
We open the site from12pm on Friday 30th June and run until people go to their inflatable beds, althoughcontent will be quieter post 11pm, unless you're in the 'disco bunker' where it will be anything but quiet, but totally sound proofed so anyone star or lake gazing won't be disturbed.
How do I know what's on and when?
Chalkboards will be outside each venue detailing the events going on there and aprogramme will be available in the festival for £5. For any queries on site, please head to our Info tent.
What about rubbish?
This is a wild site so please do take all your rubbish home with you.
Where can I find my tickets?
Your tickets will have been emailed to your PayPal email. If you can't find them, don't worry, we will be able to sort but it may just take a little longer to check in on arrival.
